Eisenhower writes to his brother Edgar: ''I find that for one reason or another I have not acknowledged your suggestions regarding the Supreme Court vacancy. I assure you that I have the matter under serious consideration...'' Eisenhower would appoint Justice John Harlan shortly thereafter. Signed ''DE'' in black ink. Letter measuring 6.75'' x 8.75'' has been hole punched, else fine.
