Here, Eisenhower writes to his brother Edgar expressing his discontent with an upcoming political function: ''...The meeting in Pennsylvania...where Fred Waring is to be presiding, will be both large and political. I am told that there are to be some thousands there. I am sure you understand how little such a thing interests me...'' Signed ''D.E.'' Letter measures 6.75'' x 9'' with two holes punched at top.
