Typed letter signed by Dwight D. Eisenhower, dated 14 January 1952 from Allied Headquarters in Europe, to his brother Edgar to wish him a happy wedding anniversary and congratulate him on lowering his golf handicap. Letter reads in part: ''...another year has passed, and I have a feeling that you have aged less during it than I have!...'' The 7'' x 10.25'' letter is signed ''Ike'' in black ink. He handwrites a P.S. about Edgar's handicap mentioning that ''it sounds disastrous'' and signs it: ''D''. Letter has expected folds, else near fine.
