Dwight D. Eisenhower typed letter signed as Army Chief of Staff, dated 21 December 1945, to his brother Edgar on official War Department stationery. He wishes Edgar and Edgar's family ''...a Merry Christmas and all good things for the New Year.'' The 7'' x 9'' letter is signed ''Dwight''. Its 8.25'' x 3.75'' letterhead envelope bears two U.S. postage stamps and is stamped ''Passed By Base 1008 Army Examiner''. Minor soiling to envelope, else very good. Letter has expected folds, else near fine.
