Dwight Eisenhower typed letter signed ''Ike'', dated 13 August 1952, on ''Office of Dwight D. Eisenhower'' letterhead, from Denver, Colorado. Written to brother ''Ed'', letter discusses Eisenhower's political reservations as the November election looms. Reads in part: ''...This whole political business is very confusing. It is scarcely possible to propose a question or problem that does not instantly receive a dozen different answers -- each colored by the thinking in the area in which a particular individual lives, or by the group in which he earns his livelihood...'' One page letter, measuring 7'' x 10.25'', has folds from mailing. Near fine.
