Martin Van Buren hand-addressed free frank signed ''M. Van Buren'' as Vice President. Van Buren addresses the envelope to ''Moses Dawson, Esq. / Cincinnati / Ohio'' and above the address writes ''Free / M. Van Buren''. Address panel bears a 15 February Washington postmark and ''Free'' stamp. In another hand is written ''M. Van Buren / Vice President / U.S.'' The 5.75'' x 3.5'' envelope panel, which unfolds to 10'' x 8'', has light soiling, vertical fold and paper loss to bottom portion of wax seal. Frank has been silked on both sides. Very good.
