Special J. Edgar Hoover signed inscription to President Herbert Hoover. Hoover as FBI Director inscribes the front free endpaper of this 1951 first edition copy of ''Our FBI'' by John J. Floherty, in full: ''To / Hon. Herbert Hoover / Whose friendship and advice will always be cherished by me / Sincerely J. Edgar Hoover / Dec. 1951''. Book runs 155pp., with original dustjacket. Bound in teal cloth boards with blue printed lettering. Mild wear to board edges and a tiny stain to the backstrip. Small pencil notation: ''ack 1/9/52'' is present to front free endpaper. Overall near fine. Dustjacket is price clipped, lightly toned and shows wear to edges and flap hinges, else very good.
