Rose Kennedy signs a typed letter to her sister-in-law Loretta Connelly dated 29 August 1955. She writes extensively about their stay in the Mediterranean mentioning Gina Lollobrigida on stage, the figure of the Queen of Iran and family members: ''...Bobby [Kennedy] has written that the trip has been tremendously interesting and enjoyable, except he has had several days when the heat has been up to 140 and he said that really was devastating...[signed] Rose / Joe flying home about Sept 20th''. Single page letter measures 5.75'' x 7.75''. Envelope included. Toned and lightly creased, else very good condition.
