Rose Kennedy autograph letter signed to her husband's sister, Loretta Connelly, on a postcard from the Alps. Postmarked 1957, it reads in full: ''Came to Switzerland & stopped here at Sierre on way to Zermat. Welcome cold weather as Antibes was so hot. Joe is fine. Fr. Cavanaugh, Arthur & Ann Gargan are with us. Love to all / Rose''. Fr. John Cavanaugh was the favored priest of the Kennedy family. Message is written upside down, next to handwritten address. Measures 5.5'' x 3.5''. Creasing and wear to edges, else near fine.
