Original press release from the JFK administration giving reporters a transcript of John F. Kennedy's first State of the Union address. Dated 29 January 1961, historic address reads in part: ''...I speak today in an hour of national peril and national opportunity. Before my term has ended, we shall have to test anew whether a nation organized and governed such as ours can endure. All of us together, must forge those answers.'' Ten pages on five sheets measure 8'' x 14''. In near fine condition.
