Charlie Duke signed 16'' x 20'' photo of the Apollo 16 Lunar Module, about to rendezvous with the Command Module in order to return to Earth. Duke writes a bittersweet caption about leaving the Moon, ''Good-Bye Moon! We had checked out all our systems and donned our helmets and gloves. I was sad to leave. I had enjoyed it so much and wished we could stay longer and do more exploration. It was like saying last farewells to an old friend! / Charlie Duke / Apollo 16 Moonwalker''. Glossy 16'' x 20'' photo is inscribed by Duke in silver felt-tip. Lack of adhesion to part of signature, else near fine condition.
