Signature of Civil War General Philip Sheridan, a close ally of General-in-Chief U.S. Grant, who tapped Sheridan to command all Cavalry forces in the Army of the Potomac. Card is boldly signed ''P.H. Sheridan / Lieu General.'' Measures 3.375'' x 1.875'', matted and framed with a photograph of Sheridan to a size of 13.75'' x 17.25''. Minor discoloration, overall very good plus condition.
