Lot of ten checks signed by Barry Goldwater, dated 3 December 1985, when he was still Senator from Arizona, to 17 December 1987, after his term expired in January 1987. Five checks, measuring 8.25'' x 3'', are written on the account of Margaret Johnson Goldwater, his wife. One check, printed with Goldwater's Scottsdale home address and measuring 6'' x 2.75'', was not cashed. The remaining checks, measuring 8.25'' x 3'', are all cancelled. All checks are drawn on Valley National Bank of Phoenix, Arizona. Folding to checks, holes punched and minor soiling. Overall very good.
