Rare contract for Buddy Holly and The Crickets, dated 5 December 1957 for a series of concerts to be performed in Florida in 1958. Signed by Holly's manager Norman Petty and countersigned by Harry Smythe, who assembled a package of ''Hillbilly Rock'' performers for the tour. Green contract with General Artists Corporation (GAC) measures 8.5'' x 11'', with stapled rider additionally signed by Smythe, providing details on the concert venues. Staple punctures and small closed tear along foldline, overall very good. Accompanied by letter on GAC letterhead dated 7 January 1958, with ''Deceased'' handwritten.
