Robert F. Kennedy typed letter twice-signed, dated 5 December 1966 on U.S. Senate stationery. Kennedy writes to ''Saturday Review'' Editor Norman Cousins, in part, ''Thanks for the most stimulating draft on foreign policy...I had hoped to reply to your suggestions earlier. However, as you may know, I am having some difficulties with Harper & Row over the Manchester book. I did not want to make any new arrangements until those difficulties were resolved; but that has taken longer than I thought it would...[signed] Bob'' and ''My best / Bob'' in black felt-tip. Kennedy may be referencing his book ''To Seek a Newer World'', published in 1967. Single page letter measures 8'' x 10.5''. Shallow folds and errant doodle at top, overall near fine.
