Letter to Jane Deacy from Dick Clayton, James Dean's agents. Dated 22 July 1955, Clayton updates Deacy on James Dean's life. Letter reads in part, ''...Now about Jimmy. Although he promised me he was going to wait about business managers his insurance fellow, Lou Brecker, got him together at dinner with an outfit Coulter and Gray. Jimmy now definitely wants them to handle his business affairs. However, he has signed nothing with them and tells me it is on a month to month basis, and he can terminate at any time. / He will probably move to the new house over the week end.
