Western Union telegram sent by James Dean to his agent Jane Deacy, dated 26 July 1954 while Dean was filming ''East of Eden''. From Beverly Hills, Dean writes, ''Want and need information concerning future status. Where's Mother. Come on. Love Jimmy''. Telegram measures 8'' x 5.75'', stapled to typed response from Deacy's secretary which is addressed to Dean, c/o Elia Kazan at Warner Brothers. Some pencil writing on telegram, light creasing and toning, overall very good. From the estate of James Dean's agent, Jane Deacy.
