Western Union telegram sent by James Dean's agent Jane Deacy to ''East of Eden'' director Elia Kazan. Addressed to Kazan at the Hollywood Knickerbocker Hotel, Deacy simply writes ''Thank you. Best Regards.'' Undated, but likely from sometime in 1954 after Dean was cast in his breakout film role. Telegram measures 8.25'' x 6.125''. Toning and light wear, overall very good.
