1943 Office of War Information poster #37 reminding Americans that rationing was good for the war effort and their boys overseas. ''GI Joe'' was a familiar face on rationing posters from 1943-45, and here he enjoys a cup of ''joe.'' This poster became so popular that the war office reprinted a larger version with a slightly different headline. Chipping along margins and separation at folds of 22'' x 28'' paper poster. Overall in good condition.
