This box was used to transfer the contested ballots in Palm Beach County, Florida during the disputed 2000 Presidential election that ultimately led to the election of President George W. Bush. Includes ballot handling instructions and an unused ballot count chart. A label on top of the case dictates the sealing procedure to prevent vote tampering. Box weighs approximately 8 lbs. and measures 18.25'' x 11.25'' x 4''. Acquired directly from Palm Beach County.
