Original Hal Foster preliminary artwork for the ''Prince Valiant'' comic strip, #1998 in the series. Pencil sketch was for the strip published on 25 May 1975, hand-drawn by Foster as the strip transitioned from Foster to John Cullen Murphy. Lot also includes a typed story outline, and separate typed story narration. All three sheets measure 8.5'' x 11''. Three hole punch, and paperclip impression at top. Overall in very good condition. From the John Cullen Murphy estate.
