Revolutionary War bond issued in 1780-82 to a soldier in the Connecticut Line of the Continental Army. Signed by John Lawrence as Treasurer at bottom, and the soldier on verso, bond was payable in gold or silver, with hole at center confirming that the soldier redeemed it. Bond measures 8'' x 4.25''. Some wear, overall very good condition.
