A treasure trove of ''Mad'' magazines in four bound volumes, comprising 63 issues beginning with #7, published October-November 1953, to #69, published March 1962. Also bound in at the end of the fourth volume are the two sole issues of ''Trump'' magazine, published by HMH Publishing Co. (Hugh Hefner's company) in 1957. ''Trump'' was edited by Harvey Kurtzman after he left ''Mad'' magazine in 1956. Alfred E. Neuman's whimsical face graces many of the ''Mad'' covers, filled with fun satirical content as well as comics in the early issues, and interesting stories such as ''Is a Trip to the Moon Possible'' in the July 1955 issue. Volume I contains issues #7-23; Volume II issues #24-#38; Volume III issues #39-55; and Volume IV issues #56-69. Volume I measures 7.25'' x 10.25'', and the other three volumes measure 8.25'' x 10.75''. Magazines are generally in very good condition, with only isolated issues of paper loss. Some separation starting to either front or rear joint in each of the volumes. Volume IV has some dampstaining to the front, affecting the first few issues. An impressive set of which Alfred E. Neuman would be proud.
