Douglas Sirk contract signed with Universal Pictures, the studio that produced the bulk of Sirk's filmography, including ''Written on the Wind'', ''A Time to Love and a Time to Die'' and ''Imitation of Life''. Contract is dated 21 July 1959, shortly after Sirk's most famous film, ''Imitation of Life'' starring Lana Turner was released. Two page contract on two sheets outlines Sirk's compensation and pay schedule. Measures 8.5'' x 11''. In fair condition with heavy dampstaining to left side, though not affecting content.
