Informal ''Surrender Ceremony'' program from the WWII Japanese surrender, listing the ''Schedule of Arrivals'' and protocol for the military officers attending the event aboard the USS Missouri. Typed 9pp. document is dated 2 September 1945, and features detailed activities from the hours of 0730 to 0840, including the order of signing for the 10 participating countries: Japan, the United States, China, the United Kingdom, the USSR, Australia, Canada, France, New Zealand and the Netherlands. Further information includes standing positions and the fact that the Japanese Representatives would be ''lying off the ship in their boat'' until called aboard. Document measures 8'' x 10.5''. Uniform toning and staple puncture at top. Very good condition. Rare document may be complete set of instructions for U.S. participants, more detailed than other copies we've encountered.
