Incredible collection of jazz signatures, found within ''Esquire's Jazz Book 1945'', with autographs by the leading jazz musicians of the era including the elusive signature of Charlie Parker. With dozens more, including Count Basie, Coleman Hawkins, Louis Jordan, Benny Goodman, Roy Eldridge, Johnny Hodges, Cab Calloway, Cootie Williams, David Rivera, Sonny Green, Buster Bailey, Rex Stewart, Ham Jackson, and many more band members. Signatures are principally on the front endpapers, fly-leaf and title pages of the book, published in New York: A.S. Barnes & Co. for Esquire, Inc., 1945. Edited by Paul Eduard Miller, book is an exciting deep-dive into the jazz scene of the mid-1940s, complete with numerous photographs and a pull-out map of New Orleans. Book measures 6.25'' x 9.25'' spanning 256pp. With light blue dust jacket, sunned on the spine. Bright blue book is very well-preserved, with only uniform toning and light wear.
