Elegantly signed at the conclusion, ''Franklin Pierce'' atop the original orange paper seal. Countersigned by Secretary of the Navy James C. Dobbin. Vellum document measures 11.5'' x 16''. Irregularly trimmed and small bit of paper loss, overall very good condition.
