Robert Louis Stevenson's first edition of his classic ''Treasure Island''. London, Paris & New York: Cassel & Co, Ltd., 1883. First printing points present except the ''7'' on page 127 is not raised or bold. Measures 5.25'' x 7.75''. Copy is attractive in very good condition. Binding slightly loose and cocked, rubbing to spine, abrasion to front endpaper and previous owner's name and blindstamp to half-title. Internally, pages are clean with very little foxing. Four pages of ads at rear are dated 5G-783.
