First edition, first printing of Dr. Seuss' classic ''The Cat in the Hat''. New York: Random House, 1957. Housed in original clipped dust jacket, but with portion of first printing price of 200/200 visible. Measures 7'' x 9.25''. Jacket has price sticker from bookseller on rear flap; overall very good. Child's name written in pencil on verso of front free endpaper, otherwise book is near fine with crisp pages and bright illustrations.
