In this political cartoon, Opper comments on the plight of the ''Common People'' who are left unprotected from thugs, with lawmakers, public officials, police and investigative committees either negligent or asleep on the job. No date on strip, but an engraving order slip dated 6 November 1920 is taped to verso. Comic measures 12.5'' x 11.5''. Light soiling, overall very good condition.
