Original ''Indoor Sports'' comic strip by Tad Dorgan. Dated 23 January, Dorgan illustrates a ''quince faced'' newspaper boss reviewing a comic strip by a new artist, who looks a bit nervous. No year, although likely 1925 as written on the back of the strip. In addition to his work as one of the earliest comic artists, Dorgan is famous for popularizing expressions in his work such as ''dumbbell'', ''for crying out loud'' and ''cat's meow''. Measures 13'' x 9''. Light soiling and toning, overall very good condition. From the estate of ''Blondie'' creator, Chic Young.
