Prince stage-worn custom blouse and shoes. Blouse of cream color jersey fabric with applied gold sparkle fleck is a poet shirt style. Shirt features a pointed collar and lettuce edge ruffles at the cuffs and down the center, flanking the front snap placket. Costumer Jose Arellanes' label is sewn within, as are shoulder pads. Matching shoes are covered in the same fabric. Zipper pull on the one of the shoes is Prince's ''love symbol'' from his name change when he was referred to in the media as the Artist Formerly Known As Prince. Shoes are built with leather lining, with metal reinforcements nailed into the space between the heel and sole under the arch. Designer label within bears the brand name Andre #1. Shirt measures 22'' x 32''. Shoes measure 9.25'' from toe to heel, with high heel measuring 3.5''. Stain on the shirt to bottom front left and a small stain on the right cuff, with a few small stains on the shoes, else near fine. From the collection of Mayte Garcia.
