Typed letter signed ''Albert Speer'' by the former Nazi. Just a few years before his death, Speer writes to an American acquaintance, Elaine Lincoln. Dated 9 January 1976 on his personal stationery, the German letter translates in part: ''...You could do me a huge favor if you could make me a copy of the interview with Phil Donahue and send it to me. I have tried without success to acquire a copy. It would be a precious addition to my collection of interviews and such...'' 1pp. on card-style stationery measures 6'' x 8.25''. Creasing, else near fine. Accompanied by full translation.
