Her Majesty writes on Clarence House stationery, dated 9 February 1967, in full, ''Dear Mr. Ford, I enclose a cheque in payment of the staircase. I am so pleased with the change & am sure that the ground floor corridor is transformed in consequence. With so many thanks for the lovely lilies of the valley, yours sincerely Elizabeth R''. Single page letter measures 5'' x 8''. Horizontal crease and strip of glue residue at top. Very good condition.
