Christmas card from Martin Luther King, Jr. Card opens to a printed sentiment, ''Season's Greetings from the King family / Coretta & Martin Luther, Jr., Yolanda, Martin III, Dexter & Bernice. Opposite is a printed poem that reads in part, ''May we, like the Wise Men of old / Press on toward the Polar Star / That points to Peace...In some new dawning day, / When the dark clouds of racial prejudice...will have passed away...'' Measures 5'' x 7''. Faint foxing, else near fine. Acquired from a larger lot of items belonging to one of the workers in King's office in Montgomery.
