Herbert Hoover autograph letter signed. Upon Waldorf-Astoria stationery, letter reads in full, ''My Dear Mrs. Anthony, Herewith is a good luck token that I have had for 20 years. It works pretty well. As I don't need it for very long I would like somebody like you who has still a long ways to go to have it. Yours, Herbert Hoover''. Single-page letter on a sheet of card-style stationery measures 5.5'' x 6.75''. A date has been added by an unknown hand as 21 December 1950. Creasing, adhesive residue to verso, else near fine.
