Cary Grant ''The Howards of Virginia'' costume. Grant stars in the Revolutionary War period piece as the patriarch of his family, opposite Martha Scott. Two-piece wardrobe ensemble by United Costume comprises: (1) a cream muslin tunic with lace-trimmed cuffs and United label typed, ''Cary Grant / 629D'', with handwritten ''#4'' next to the line designated for scene number. Measures 25'' across the chest with 24'' sleeve. Near fine, (2) pair of light brown trousers with United Costumers label and typed name of Cary Grant, labeled ''606C''. Pants feature zippered cuffs. Measures 42'' x 25''. In fair condition, with various ink notations within the waistband and scattered abrasions to fabric. Accompanied by a Warner Brothers Corporate Archive Museum item record document listing the ensemble.
