Delightful watch case by Bulova custom made as a gift at the Academy Awards. Art deco style, semicircular caselikely dates to the 1950's-1960's. Features a lid made as an intricate theatre curtain in gilt with Oscar statue taking center stage, all under a lucite shell. Lid closes on a cream plastic base with Bulova band name at center under Oscar. Case opens to a lining of fuscia velour and Bulova watch guarantee booklet. Case measures 5.75'' x 3'' x 1.75''. Near fine.
