Austin'', Texan loan certificate No. 311 stipulates that Robert Triplett, who loaned the state of Texas $32, will be paid back over 5 years at a rate of 8% per annum. Signed in black ink by S.F. Austin, B.J. Archer, and William H. Wharton. Single page measures 9" x 11". In very good to near fine condition, save for a cancellation cut to body resulting in paper loss to printed text at center. Also with some ink erosion to part of Austin's signature.
