Dated 25 October 1926, letter to one Marian Deane in Hampton, VA reads in full: "On my return from Europe I find your letter of October 17th. I thank you for your kind words and I am glad to comply with your requests. Very sincerely yours, W.E.B. Du Bois". Single-page letter on a sheet of NAACP Crisis stationery measures 5.5" x 8.5". Toning, else near fine.
