King George V photo signed. Black and white photo bears the prince's autograph inscription, ''George / H.M.S. 'Thrush' / 1890-91'' as commander of the HMS Thrush gunboat in the Royal Navy. Portrait is blind-stamped to the lowermost right by Livernois of Quebec. Measures 7.25'' x 9.25''. Toning, an inch of cracking at right top edge and adhesive residue to verso, else near fine.
