King George III document signed, "George R". Datelined 5 March 1788, St. James Palace, document commands payment of ninety-three pounds, twelve shillings to Patrick Lindesay, Esq., "…for his disbursements in postage of letters, stationary ware, etc. between 25th December, 1786 + 25th December, 1787…" Single-page document is matted and framed with a biographical plaque and printed color portrait, to an overall size of 38.5" x 25". Tape mark in right margin, scattered light spots of discoloration and creasing. Very good.
