Typed letter signed, "Winston S. Churchill", on Her Majesty's Treasury stationery. Datelined London, August 1926, Churchill's letter to H.K. Neymer reads in full, "With reference to your letter of the 8th July, I have no objection to your proposal to name your yacht after me and I wish it a successful cruise. [signed] Winston S. Churchill". Single-page letter features a Chancellor of the Exchequer seal at top center. Measures 7.5" x 9.5". Light toning and creasing, else near fine.
