Orville Wright signed 6.25'' x 4.75'' photograph captioned ''First Man-Flight, December 17, 1903, Kitty Hawk, N.C.'' Photo comes with the original envelope in which it was sent to Ruth Johnson on 12 August 1930 written by Orville Wright's secretary, Mabel Beck. The return address is ''Orville Wright Dayton, Ohio'', with a cancellation from ''Dayton on Aug. 12, 1930''. Envelope has some tears at edges, and photo has tears to the margin at edges plus a small bend at top left corner.
