Dated 25 December 1974, letter to her personal onset dresser and friend Eric Harrison in New York reads in full, ''Happy & Merry - [illegible] well better be - / Dear Eric / Oh - you are right there at the right moment! We grabbed your present - tore it open - cut into it - ate some chocolate & took it with us to Maine - Gabbing as we went - Blessings See you when we get back - I called before we left - no ans - Love K-Hep / Phyllis says ditto!'' Single-page letter on Hepburn's personal stationery measures 6'' x 8''. Horizontal crease across the center from mailing, else fine.
