17 October 1763 Pennsylvania bail bond, stating that a James Davis and William Caldwell ''...Are held and firmly bound unto Ezekiel Dunning, Esq: High-Sheriff, of the County of Cumberland...'' The document requires the payment of forty pounds for release and mentions a court date for James Davis of 18 October for a decision on a trespassing charge. Document measures 6.5'' x 8.25'' and shows uniform toning as well as chipping to the right side. Overall in very good condition.
