Josephine Baker autograph letter signed. Dated 9 April 1964, Baker writes in French on Hotel Navarro Stationery from New York. In the letter, Baker offers one Madame Bruning a monthly salary of 40,000 Francs to manage her busy household in France. The mother of twelve closes the letter with ''...Please let me know immediately if you will accept this...'' Envelope addressed in Baker's hand accompanies the letter. 6pp. on three 7.25'' x 10.5'' sheets. Creasing, else fine.
