Edward, Duke of Windsor portrait personally owned by the Duke himself. Sepia-toned photo depicts Edward donning a kilt ensemble with medals and sporon. Photo was taken by the well-known celebrity/resort photographer Frank Turgeon, whose blindstamp appears on the lower left corner of the photo and whose signature was added in pencil at the lower right on the mat. Photo has not been removed from the mat and 15.75" x 19" frame display, but appears near fine. With provenance from the Sotheby's auction of the Property of the Duke & Duchess of Windsor, held in New York 11-19 September 1997. All the appropriate tags remain intact.
