Seven page autograph letter signed by Ty Cobb, dated 7 January 1960, 1 1/2 years before his death. Cobb writes to Marie Quinn, a friend he met in Cooperstown, complaining of physical pain and shabby doctor care: ''...phony doctors...so many of this exhalted [sic] profession [have] this heartless commercial side to them...the doctor not living over 2 miles from me...I do not have his home secret number...'' signed ''Ty''. Seven pages on front sides only, measure 4.5'' x 7''. Written on Cobb's personal Georgian stationery with envelope. Very good.
7pp. Autograph Letter Signed by Ty Cobb -- ''...I have been in torment and I mean hell, was constant acute pain...''
