Dated 12 June 1960 on 4pp., Cobb writes, ''...I am determined to start a new and efficient life...I want [my granddaughter] to join me in Rome for some of Olympics. There is where you come in...chaperone and show her...I only want your absolute loyalty to me in helping and to be counted on to stay...Marie should you meet someone you can be interested in, you are to use my house freely as if a daughter to receive them...'' 7.25'' x 10.5'' sheets with first on his letterhead.
